Meet the Staff
Ms. Shanice
RECE Supervisor
Hello Everyone, It is great to be at Cedar Creek with all the beautiful families! I started my career in early childhood education about 10 years ago when I received a diploma in early childhood education, and then obtained my Honours Bachelor's Degree. Two years ago, I helped open up Creek Childcare's first centre, Hickory Creek as the Supervisor. I went on Maternity leave October 2023, and I'm now in the supervisor position here at Cedar Creek. My career so far has been full of much fun, love, joy, and a little bit of crazy, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I look forward to being there for you all and watching your children flourish.

My name is Natalie! I’m a RECE and CYP with over 8 years of experience in child development, childcare, and day camps. I have a BA Honours in Psychology with a concentration in child development from Carleton University, a Child and Youth Practitioner diploma from Niagara College, and an ECE diploma from Niagara College. I love reading and writing, painting, the outdoors, and animals. I am so excited to be a part of Cedar Creek’s growth as a centre, and to see the little ones enjoy their developmental discoveries!

Hi there, my name is Jessica. I was born and raised in Smithville, but currently residing in Beamsville. I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education and an Advanced diploma in Child and Youth Work. A fun fact about me is that I am fluent in French! In my down time, I enjoy painting, reading, and spending time with my loved ones.

Hi my name is Emily! After going to Niagara College for the ECE program, I started as a supply for Hickory Creek. Then I started full time in the toddler room, I moved to Cedar Creek about a year later in the preschool room and now I’m an infant teacher. It’s been so lovely to learn and grow alongside these daycare centres and all the amazing children, parents, and staff I’ve had the pleasure of meeting along the way. I love making art and spending time in nature! I can’t wait to see what these children will teach me next!

Hi my name is Samantha but I usually go by Sam. From an early age I knew that I wanted to work with children. I graduated from Niagara College in 2015, and have been employed as an Early Childhood Educator since then. My interests include photography, music, fashion, nature and camping. I am so happy to be a part of the Cedar Creek team and excited to be helping prepare your children for their journey in education!

Hi! My name is Chloe and I’m new to the field, switching from healthcare to childcare. In my spare time, I love to read, spend time with my family and cook. I’ve always loved working with children but after having my son, I decided it was time to get out of my comfort zone and take the leap. Everyday is so much fun as I watch your children unlock their potential, learn and develop new friendships. I’m so excited to learn and grow alongside your children!

Hi my name is Brittany, I’ve been working as an RECE in the feild since graduating from Niagara College in 2019. I joined the Creek childcare team originally at Hickory Creek, but have recently joined the Cedar Creek team in August! In my free time I enjoy crafting, reading and spending lots of time outdoors, whether that be camping fishing, hiking, or anything else in between! I’m looking forward to watching each and every one of the children in our care grow and learn throughout their time with us!

Hi, I’m Melissa. I’ve been in childcare for over 15 years and am a busy mom of two boys! In my free time, you’ll find me cheering for my son at his soccer games, baking, or playing piano. My favourite part of working at Cedar Creek is seeing the children's smiling faces each morning!
